I'm sure the big question is whether I'm staying on Janitor, quitting, or going to another platform after recent events. (https://janitorai.com/characters/18ea0d4a-6f22-4850-9647-cefc6c447f16_character-loved-you-all-3)
The quick answer to those questions are: no, I'm not abandoning Janitor, and as of now, I have no plans to migrate to a different space. But I am currently on hiatus.

Around the first of January 2026, I locked down my discord server. The reason being was because I decided I'd be going on an indefinite hiatus. This has been something long in the making, a decision that I thought about for months now, and finally locked down on it when December came around.
Why?
Two reasons: Lack of motivation, and relating to many creators on this platform, lack of communication from Janitor.
A writer's block is understandable. That's something no one can truly fix. I do still love writing and making bots, but I wanted to take a step back to just reset and focus on other matters instead of constantly berating myself whenever numbers are low or comparing myself to other creators.
It's horrible to be in such a mindset and I'm honestly just tired of myself for caring so much about it lmao.
Hence the setback.
But on the note that people are probably more interested in — the lack of communication on Janitor's end.
My SFW bots.
For those who have kept up with me and my content, a lot of you may have realized that all of my sfw bots (except Nikolai's and Malcolm's) have been privated.
Around December, I received a message that warned me of account restriction, where they'd ultimately privated my “Your Dragon Fathers” bot (Kiernan and Luan) for me. We know what TOS states on this site, but we also knew at the time that there were probably a lot of other criteria that never made it to the official site, to guide creators into the right direction when making bots. That way, we would know what sort of things are okay on the site and what is not.
But obviously, none of that had ever been communicated to the public, and the post from Mikale confirmed that hidden rules does in fact exist.
You can imagine my dismay and panic when I received the warning of my account getting restricted, especially as someone who's been on this site since the very first year it launched. I've witnessed so many changes that have been made, with things growing more and more strict, yet never truly communicated why or how or what specifically is being changed.
It's a scary warning to receive, so immediately after, I privated the rest of my sfw bots in case I accidentally broke a rule that was never explicitly written.
Now, whether Janitor will make changes on how they communicate things or not, I don't really see a future for the continued existence of my sfw bots.
You might be wondering why would I even bother to write sfw bots in the first place, on a site that's practically all about gooning and very much made for mature users.
I mean… can't I just roleplay something sweet and lovely without being bombarded with the bot being horny for me all the time?
To each their own.
And then there's complaint that I can just take it to another site if I wanted something family-friendly, but all other options I've tried are horrible with their responses. I still think Janitor is elite when it comes to roleplaying.
But enough of that.
Are the private SFW bots coming back?
Unfortunately, no.
Bots that have been privated by a moderator (Your Dragon Fathers and Your Adoptive Fathers) cannot be un-privated by the creator themself, whether they've made changes to adhere to the new TOS or not.
I think opening a ticket might help but we all know how long those takes to even get seen, hence I never tried.
(Well, I tried with the initial Adoptive Fathers but it's been over a year and it's never been looked at so….)
As for the rest of the SFW bots that I personally went and privated, for my sake, I can't bring them back. Even a creator like me who has over 50K followers has a risk of getting their account restricted or banned so… no way.
I was even scared of writing up a whole explanation because I feared that saying too much might get me banned like Cherry did… So I stayed silent lol.
Any more SFW bots in the future?
Nope.
A Kali bot has been privated and another Kali's initial message was changed.
Not sure if you've noticed just yet since this was made very recently, but I had to private a Kali bot and make changes to another initial message.
Reason being is, of course, my fear of getting hunted down again.
I was worried about the hidden rules once more, and remembered that in the current timeline, there exists four minors. Leviathan, Arakiel, Aurora, and Dawn.
I checked with a former mod and they told me brief descriptions of minors in the definitions are fine, but that in initial messages, they shouldn't have dialogues. Them being described through the bot's perspective is fine, so long as they don't say anything.
So I had to fix up the initial message for The Drunk Lord. But that being said, The Protective Lord had to go, since it centered around Lysander being seven and insecure about his wings.
I'm sorry, I wanna baby my baby too T^T
That said, I have uploaded the sfw bots and Kali stuff onto the kofi for free. I just ask that you do not publish it and pretend it's yours.
I went back to rewrite all the definitions of the sfw bots that I privated, into new formats, and have their initial messages as well.
Kali's The Protective Lord is also present, as well as the original initial message from The Drunk Lord.
Aside from that, I hope you all take care of your mental health and step away from here to touch some grass from time to time.
