u/Iysithea avatar Iysithea • 4d ago hihi thumper ! i feel a lil silly logging into reddit after yrs to be sappy on a random thread but i always enjoyed giving #posivibes to kay in their comments bc i genuinely adored wes & mikey so much and i'll miss them so bad bc they were genuinely my most favorite charas on the entire site :'> i was a frequent-ish commenter on kay's bots altho im not sure theyd recognize me (im gyuldaengie on there) but i would like for them to see my msg here if possible regardless bc i loved their content sm so i appreciate ur offer to leave a msg for them !
admittedly i dont have the full context of whats going on with the community & how its affecting ppl bc i only lurk rather than engage (but i would be open to learning more ofc) but i would still also like to convey the fact that i completely respect their wishes even tho i am mourning my best boys TT they will be missed dearly o7

Since many people would definitely love to be able to still chat with ger amazing bots. I respect and understand if that isn't something she is willing to do, she and her bots will be missed dearly 💕

I haven’t posted much here or on Jai but Kay was seriously one of my favourite creators and a would also love to be able to make private boys for myself. Her bots were always one I came back to over and over as they were just my safe space. I don’t make bots myself so hopefully it’s not hard to figure out how to make my own private ones.
Also, I just wanted to say I absolutely love your bots as well. Have been absolutely loving Dimitri 😊

I was just talking to my husband about Kay's work over breakfast this morning and how they had inspired me to put more work into my own creations. More than anything, I hope Kay is okay and knows how loved they are and how much joy their creations brought to so many of us. Kay's bots were my absolute favorite of any platform I've ever been on. So full of life, hilarity, and angst. I admired their work so much that I had even linked their JAI profile on my own creator website as a personal recommendation.
Ultimately, though, I know this must have been a decision they felt was best for them, and that's what matters most. While I would be overjoyed to see them return or create elsewhere, their personal life and well-being always comes first. I truly wish them all the best and hope that we might see their incredible work again in the future.
If Kay ever considers creating bots again, but prefers a platform other than JAI, I'd reccomend taking a look at Linkin.love. It is a bit pricey, but it has, hands down, the most supportive and least toxic community I've ever found amongt AI chat services. My experience with their Discord has been nothing short of supportive and welcoming. I feel that the developers and moderators for LIL genuinely care, prioritizing open communication and transparency in a way that feels really rare. I thought I might mention it, just in case.

I know they quit because of personal choice, but I'm disappointed and sad that they 'randomly' quit on Saturday morning (literally 1 am in my zone). Especially after a month hiatus :“/

kay specifically told me she didn't make an announcement bot because she would have felt guilty leaving you all behind and the kind words, and people telling her not to leave or that they'd miss her. she would have ended up just staying anyways despite needing to leave.

I'm going to get kicked for saying this, but I still believe that at least a small announcement from the bot creator would've be a nice thing to do. Leaving without a word is kind of… tasteless. I'm not saying they shouldn't leave, but if you've a following I think a warning, however small would be nice. Of course if something happens to the person or if they're banned that's different.
Before anyone yells at me, sure, they're not OBLIGATED. But it's also a kick in the balls for anyone who liked the creator AND the things they made to just disappear without a word.

Kay had such a creative and unique way with making their characters that got me so invested :(
I'll miss them, but I hope they're doing good, and I wish the best for them as much as everyone else <3

With everything deleted nobody can see the character page or their page. It just kind of gives you an error, I would really appreciate it if I could maybe get them 🙏
